This is the second part of a two-part introductory-level course that was designed to help cancer care professionals, including Advanced Practice Providers, Pharmacists, Fellows, and others, understand the basics of supportive care in oncology. The expert-led course is broken down into eight sections, including: mood disorders, neuropathy, mucositis, end of life care, constipation, dermatologic toxicity, soft tissue disorders of the head and neck, and cancer-related fatigue. At the end of this course, participants will be able to: identify therapies used in the management of neuropathy in cancer patients; recognize the etiology, pathophysiology and manifestations of lymph edema and fibrosis in the head and neck cancer population; manage common symptoms present with all stages of cancer care including, treatment-related dermatologic toxicities, fatigue, mood disorders, cancer-treatment related oral mucositis, and constipation; and assist with family distress and bereavement and manage the symptoms present at end of life for cancer patients.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This course expires on May 25, 2019. Participants must complete all necessary course components by this date to be eligible to claim credit.
