This course is available as part of the 2016 ASCO Tumor Boards bundle.

This is a case-based activity that includes discussion of a 58-year-old woman who presents with progressive abdominal distention. She has no significant comorbidities, no family history of breast or ovarian cancer, and her initial CA125 is 458 U/mL. The patient had a diagnostic laparoscopy with ascites, peritoneal carcinomatosis involving the omentum, RT diaphragm, and paracolic gutters. Her histology showed high-grade serous cancer.

At the end of this course, participants should understand: (1) management of advanced-stage high-grade serous cancer of ovarian, fallopian, or peritoneal origin; (2) goals and timing of cytoreductive surgery; (3) selection of optimal systemic therapy; and (4) the role of intraperitoneal chemotherapy.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This course expires on June 22, 2019. Participants must complete all necessary course components by this date.
